If you want to contribute to the work we are doing, then you are welcome to become a Supporter and get involved. As with our membership, we offer two levels – Personal and Corporate.
Being a Supporter gives you the opportunity to support the Accessible Waterways Association. You will also be kept informed of our campaigns and activities even if you don’t meet the membership requirements (or don’t want to become a member).
Obviously the Accessible Waterways Association requires an income stream to operate. By supporting us in this way, you can rest assured that you are helping achieve our aims of making our UK Waterways “Better for All”.
Personal Supporter
From a one-off donation to regular monthly payments, as a personal supporter you can be sure that your money will be put to good use! Our vision is that everyone should be able to access our waterways. We believe that being by water can transform lives – the perfect antidote to the stresses of today’s modern living.
A monthly supporter donation will go towards our core work of working with the various Waterways Authorities to identify and remove obstructions that prevent or deter full accessibility. It will help cover our administrative costs, so that we can concentrate of achieving our goals.
Our canals and waterways make a significant contribution to improving health and mental wellbeing. Your regular monthly gift will help us to plan ahead with confidence.
Corporate Supporter
Get your company involved as a corporate supporter! Our supporter opportunity helps you to demonstrate your support of our aim, to make our inland waterways accessible to all. Being by water can transform lives – the perfect antidote to the stresses of today’s modern living.
